Re: "Take away these numbers and Inprise loses money!"

It's not as bad as you make it sound Y-O-Y it's improving.

From the report:
QUOTE
When excluding the restructuring, one-time gains, taxes and accretion of warrant value for the quarter ended December 31, 1998, the Company recorded a pro forma loss of $3.7 million, or $0.08 per share. Pro forma income for the fiscal year 1998 was $1.7 million with diluted earnings per share of $0.03. This is compared with a pro forma loss of $23.9 million and a diluted loss per share of $0.49 for the 12-month period a year ago."

Re: "The vast majority of the 6 cents DID not come from sales revenue!!"

Ok let's say the stock takes off because the market decides to treat it like an internet play due to "Borland.com" and it hits $300 or $400 dollars within the next 6-to-12 months! Would you accept that or would you then say "Take away these numbers and Inprise loses money!" Let's wait and see how the market treats it in the next couple of weeks.
