Ducan, all this Disney analogy got me thinking.....
My favorite restaurant offers me a meal for $9.95, only a main course. If I want soup, salad, desert, side dish etc., I pay extra. It is open twenty four hours a day and there is never a wait. One day, the owner says they are changing into an all-you-can-eat for $19.95, still open 24 hours and if you pay one or two years in advance, you get a discount on top.
Great. Here is my VISA.
Breakfast time I went to the restaurant. Lots of people eating but the doors are locked. Lunch and dinner same. I called to find out why but the phone is busy. Finally the owner posted a note on the door - those who are eating please don't eat so much, those who are locked out please come back at 3:00 a.m. and we may get you in.
I called to get a refund but I can get in. Finally when I got in, they say they will only credit me something, based on some complicated formula of how many salads I might have eaten last month. In the mean time, I still cannot get in whenever I want.
Now I am mad as hell and called my attorney Duncan. Do I have a case? My anguish is worth at least a few million, isn't it?
