Harry Moll was also behind a US company (forgot the name) that was involved in stereolithography. It was/is a firm using lasers to create stuff by shooting the laser into a pool of light-activated resin. I wonder if the feds ever found that link - funny thing is, Moll's relationship to the stereolithography firm was never hidden - just wonder if anybody knows what happened?
