FRANKLIN BOOKS ANOTHER SIX FIGURE SALE TO
REVCO DRUGS ($400,000)

Westlake Village, CA.> Franklin Telecom of Westlake Village, California announced
today that it has received an additional order for the Franklin Asynchronous
Communications Co-Processor System (ACP) from Revco Drugs totaling over
$400,000. The new units are required to service the additional stores which Revco is
getting due to its acquisition of the Big B chain.

Alan London, Franklin's Sales Manager said, "Once again, Revco is growing and
Franklin is fortunate to be able to participate in their growth. We're excited about their
expansion."

Frank Peters, Franklin's president and CEO adds, "Revco and the ACP product line are
a great match. Revco is an enormous operation. The ACP provides the flexible and
completely reliable linkage these stores need to their headquarters without disrupting
other in-progress computer functions. It's very gratifying to see that as Revco moves to
expand again, Franklin is among the first directions they look for the support technology
to make their transitions smooth and efficient."

The ACP allows the customer to install the product into an in-store PC; the local store
can then establish a 64kb X.25 permanent virtual circuit to corporate HQ while operating
7 asynchronous devices (like printers and terminals) at the local site. Since the ACP is a
full computer with on board memory and a CPU you get true Multi Processing so it gets
off the computer bus and returns control to the operator just as though it is not there.
The ACP could fit into any PC turning it into a high speed communications controller
while not interfering with the PC.
