This morning right after the earnings came out DLJ downgraded CPQ from Top Pick to Buy. That explains the drop in the price. Now DLJ can go back and start buying the shares back at lower price. Once it reaches $60/shr they will upgrade it to their Top Pick for another 10% boost before they drop their ratings again. It is the same old story of big shot Analysts playing with eachother, themselves, and the little guys on the street.
