FRANKLIN INKS DEAL TO PROVIDE INTERNET SERVICE
FOR GTE INFORMATION SYSTEMS
Westlake Village, CA.> Franklin Telecom announced today that Franklin Internet (FNet), has won a contract to provide high-speed internet service to GTE Information Systems, a division of GTE Corporation based in Westlake Village, California. The initial one-year order specifies 128 KBPS ISDN Centranet service and will support multiple individual and departmental mailboxes.
GTE recently completed a major project at its own expense which has provided Franklin with fiber optic lines so progressive that they will accommodate technical advances which are thus far still on the drawing board. According to Franklin President & CEO Frank Peters, "While we have many business accounts, this contract with GTE is particularly satisfying since it comes from people who know "what's what" in the high-tech world and can't afford less than the best for their own business needs. We're delighted that after observing Franklin at close range during the installation of our fiber optic lines, GTE has chosen to go with FNet for the best internet service."
Sales Manager Alan London adds, "It has been a pleasure doing business with GTE Information Systems. They know what they need and are eager to take advantage of the features and quality that FNet offers. From the outset, FNet has focused on the needs of businesses. It's exciting to be representing this kind of "cutting edge" product. Our services pretty much sell themselves, these days, as companies discover new ways to take advantage of all the Internet has to offer. We're hoping this is just the beginning of a new and mutually profitable relationship with GTE."
