Franklin has been selling this product to Hughes and other customers requiring highly reliable Co Processor Systems for 8 years. According to Frank W. Peters, Franklin's President & CEO, "The significance of this order is that it indicates a break the 'hold' environment for advanced systems of this kind at Hughes. Our Multi Processor is unlike the Multi Tasking systems such as Windows '95 which use one CPU to manage all tasks.
