Tidy Bowl Man.... Do you recall from last August when the "Titantic Indicator" briefly became a topic of discussion on this thread? Here's a lil sumin sumin to help refresh your memory:

Message 5388523

Guess what Cap'n Drano? IT FIRED AGAIN!! (The Titantic Indicator).

I was hung over from all that glue when it fired, so didn't catch it right away... But sure enough, on Thursday, Jan. 14th, just 3 days off the peak, we had roughly 70 new 52 wk. lows and only about 20 new 52 wk. highs.

Also, it appears as though scenario #2 was the real deal, along with your count of the bottoming action (damn you're good!!), which prevented the SPX from going through 1263 (which was the highest that count would allow). Wish I would have stuck with that count... Would have saved me about $2,000 on all the puts i bought today. ;o)

I've fired the big guns, but haven't gone nuclear yet. Waiting for that last spike up tomorrow to remove the undies and release the thermonuclear stuff. <g>

It appears now as though 1262 is the ceiling on the Mar S&P (1255SPX). Just let it come back up there tomorrow!!

Regards,

David
