The site is part of a stable of agricultural sites run by MBT International (MBTI-BB) which values total listings on the sites at over $87 million. In a press release, MBT International CEO Andy McKinnon said, "This first site focuses exclusively on horses and brings the 15,000 animals in AgriMall/HorseNet's SaleBarn into play." Using auction technology similar to eBay (EBAY) and uBid (UBID), MBTI expects a fee of up to 15 percent for each transaction.
