Loring, Paul is correct that Novell has historically been a conservative, shy company. That is what got them in trouble a couple of years ago. They rested on their market lead and didn't fight off the competition in the area that they were leading. Instead they lost focus. They might now be gun-shy trying out new Internet endevors because it might back-fire on them like the WordPerfect and UnixWare diversification did. In fact, this would not be the case regarding their shot at using Novell plumbing as an Internet play. But they are likely gun-shy. Toy
