If Slitz made the comments that you attributed to him

then he should be asked to rethink and to explain his reasoning by the investors in this company. You don't have any stock and I gather that your experience is that of a senior engineer and you are not used to questioning senior executives. In fact it appears you work for a company that is somewhat dependant upon currying favor with Novell. I'm sure that if Slitz told you personally that white was black and black was white, you would find a way to agree with him. However the people that own stock in Novell own this company. Mr. Slitz works for Novell. And to which entity? Another Canadian company?

Or should we spin off Novell's best propect for providing the plumbing for internet commerce to Timpanogas?
You have some difficulty telling the difference between Novonyx the entity and the Netscape web server product that runs on top of Netware. You also don't seem to remember what Schmidt did with Novonyx! Do you have some interest in Novell spinning off it's products so that it's shareholders and employees do not benefit from the profits? Do you like the profits that the shareholders received from spinning off Wordperfect to Corel? Are you suggesting that Novell spin off it's internet commerce prospects as well? The one you work for?

Yes this is vicious, but don't be smart with me.

Stick to engineering, and those Canadian penny stocks.
