Wed 27 Jan 99 News Release
Mr. Roy McDonald reports
The company is launching a marketing program scheduled to begin early in
1999 for its Butch Harmon Accu-Master golf training package. Firelight will
enter agreements with two major North American media placement and creative
production agencies. Western International Media, the largest media
management company in North America, with billings of over five billion
dollars annually, will handle media management. AronowNVeiss, Brand
Response Television will handle creative production. Its clients include
Fidelity Investments, Time/Life and Sports Illustrated.
Changes to the company's advertising format and product offering have been
implemented as a result of focus groups and direct market test carried out
during 1998. Firelight will now market via targeted prime-time one-minute
and 30-second commercials and offer the product for sale in two parts.
Western International Media has recommended a first months program which
includes networks such as ESPN with 75 million subscribers as well as spots
on golf specific channels, to be expanded in the second month to additional
cable networks.
The company plans to finance the current program through a non-brokered
private placement.
