In a recent post, LastShadow mentioned that he uses a neural net program called Neural Shell. Unfortunately, it's not available for the Mac. To my knowledge, the only neural net application available for the Mac is called Neuralyst, by Cheshire Engineering. I've had the software for about 4 years. It runs in Excel 4.0 and higher. I purchased it in hopes of finding some predictive value in the fundamental and psychological data presented on the index chart page of IDB. When I was unsuccessful,I lost interest in the program. This is a commentary on my abilities, not the software. It is fairly easy to use and comes with a well laid out manual. If anyone is interested in exploring neural nets on a Mac, you might want to check out their web site<http://www.cheshireeng.com/> and follow the neuralyst link. It sells for $195. It is about 5 years old and I'd guess, not as sophisticated as Last's Neural Shell.
