Jules, About 5 years ago, if you looked at an IBM computer in the store. One thing stood out. They were relying on name brand recognition only to sell their products. There prices competitively stunk. Nowadays if you go into a store like Radio Shack, thier pretty competive at the retail level. They also seem to be on the cutting edge in area's like voice recognition integration. Another example was thier butterfly keyboard. Great idea!
7 years ago that probably would have been stuck in a beauracratic shelf or something. Also thier thinkpads seem to be selling very well in Japan, an extremely competitve environment.

Regards, Michael
