Well Don, Today at work I was talking with another engineer Kevin. I was telling about my daughter IQP award at WPI as Kevin is a WPI alumnus. I decided to tell him about my EYE computer. Kevin uses a SGI O2 as a workstation. Kevin clicked on Netscape and several seconds latter netscape finally loaded. I then pointed Kevin to the pictures of my computer. I would say that my impression of the operating speed of this single headed O2 is about 1/4 to 1/6 that of my three headed Ppro. I could bring up three different netscapes, one on each of the three displays on my system all at the same time in 1/2 the time of this O2 starting one. I can build a Ppro box or an equivalent celeron box for less the 600. That's sans display's My three headed Pro System can be duplicated for about 500. Oh need 199 for XIG xserver.
