And they only recently went online trading. Trust me, there are glitches in the system. For instance, I saw a stock was going up that I had (OTC, expecially), and when I tried to put an order in, it kept rejecting it, saying I was too far from the recent price, even though I was trying to put in a Limit Order. After being on hold for 20 minutes and watching about a thousand dollars being lost, it turns out that they use the night before's closing numbers, and at this moment it will not let you go above the closing price of the day before over 20%....Unless you are doing market orders....Then you are at their mercy..You take whatever it is they give you. They said they are working on this problem and will be fixed in February???? So everytime this happens, I am put on hold for ages. Plus, when I try and get into OTC Real-time prices, it won't bring it up half the time, tells me there is no such symbol. In fact I have not been able to bring up any real time quotes for OTC at all from them, and have to go into another site to get the darn quote!!! Until they get their "S***t" together, I am finding myself totally displeased. A few weeks ago, I put an order in over the phone, because the stock was rising quickly. I went back over the price I would take, and had him repeat it, as it was a "limit" price...They sold it for less, and when I called and complained, they said they would look into it, and they never got back to me, and as it was done over the phone, I had no physical record as to what I said. They did, not me. I am not very pleased with them to be honest. Half the time I go in during right at the market hours, the site has been down, so I am unable to do anything. I would suggest maybe you wait before using them, or at least calling first to see what they are going to do about their bugs. They are so big....This is definitely not a way to do business. OTC is rapidly growing....I don't know, maybe it will get better.
But, they are great with market order...but you are at their mercy, as you read from my last post!!!LOL |
