<<I believe in the concept of regression to the mean...therefore DELL should drop<< Funny, I could not seem to find that phrase in any of the technical analysis texts. Is this your "discovery"? Have you backtested it; and did you lose money with it? Have you heard about other terms such as "uptrend", "MACD", "On balance Volume", "bullish divergences"? They have been tested on charts such as DELL and strangely enough seem to indicate one should buy DELL at this time. Also the DELL charts now suggest something complicated like "Breakout".
