Watched "Mersey Blues" last night. It was the episode where they arrest the guy for "merder", and he says, increduously, "merder! merder!". So far, it doesn't look good for him - we have to wait until next week to find out. Also prominent in the episode was the Chief Inspector who, in real life, gets convicted of conspiracy with the baddies and sent to jail. Apparently, the last episode shows the whole thing, as it happens. Last night he spent most of his time eating chip butties (better than doughnuts).
