I am not going to speculate on future news, but the important point you make is to highlite how the IDT internet spinoff and internet business fits into the business models of the NET. As an investor my job is to put valuation on IDT; this is why i have always valued the spinoff at a significant multiple of IDT's current trading price. IDT internet skyrockets in value through the right alliances. Ez surf offers a tangible product for valuation purposes. My view is it will be the internet equivalent of the Home Shopping Channel through investors and alliances from e-commerce to media. The Yahoo/Geocities deal and the role of Softbank dramatize my point....and whether the investor alliance is with Softbank, Disney, Time Warner, TCI/AT&T, CBS, NBC, etc., is immaterial to me.....what matters is the valuation of IDT based on the business model and the real business....yahoo/idt an example of real business today. We are sitting on value, and more value waiting to happen....as Buffett might say....and the market is only beginning to take the point. The best is yet to come.
