greg,
No AMD as of yet this time, but I will get onboard if Intel is threatened, but I won't hold my breath. Meanwhile I will sit back and enjoy the ride on Intel.
About three years ago I had lots of shares in AMD that I unloaded around 29, and proceeded to get onboard INTC. Some AMD shares was bought I think at 7 7/8. The previous ride up for AMD was pretty good, and switching to Intel was a smart move I humbly admit.

CEO Sanders III 'misspoke' when he told us stockholders in the annual meeting in New City, May 94, that the AMD's 486 chips were totally 'clean' of Intel codes. A month later the truth came out. They were not 'clean' as the ICE (In Circuit Emulation) code was still being used. The fact that we were lied to by Jerry made me switch to Intel, and for that I am extremely grateful. Compare AMD and Intel charts for that time period.
humble carl
