Some comments before the conference call. The release was pretty detailed and did not contain many surprises. However, it is still more manana for profitability or any other good things. 1999 is another transition year, just like we have been seeing for 1997 and 1998. If
they do not get their act together fast this company will transition into bankruptcy.

I do wonder what is the point of producing proprietary products with high margins at Milpitas, if only to offset underutilized fab costs. I guess the idea is that down the road Milpitas would be fully utilized for such products with significant profitability. Fat chance!
