Republican Glenn Nighthorse Campbell from Colorado has come out with a statement that he is considering acquittal. I am happy to see senators begin speaking their own minds on this rather than the party rhetoric. Now the juicy stuff. The talk radios out here in Colorado are loaded up today with rumors. A guy just called in and said he knows Campbell very well and that Campbell has so much dirt hidden in his background that it is a sure thing that he did this because flynt or somebody is black mailing him. Who knows, but this kind of comment is likely to bring the dirt to the public anyway because now inquiring minds want to know. Campbell was a Democrat and switched parties to Republican last year. On the one hand it is good to see senators (Campbell and Feingold) confronting the party rhetoric on the other hand; Why are any of these numb noggins talking about how they will vote before the trial has even been run? It looks like anyone who doesn't march to the party drum needs to be ready to deal with a lot of mud slinging in this flea Circus.
