I'm new to BGP,doing some DD as a turnaround and was wondering if I could get some feed back from you pros.

My initial take is as one of their customers over the years, the browse and ship kind of person.

Always figured internet would be way more efficient but it lacked the look at the books and pick aspect. AOL has tried to duplicate this a bit by giving away first chapters and I think to some extent this will work in the future. I don't know why this practice has not become pervasive.

In any event, seems to me that for the next 5 years there will still be a need for stores. The great mass of people in malls are not going to be shopping online during that period. However, I question huge capital that is required in their so called superstores unless there is a persuasive new product mix.

As far as becoming an internet company being beaten to the door by Amazon and B&N, seems like they need to partner immediately and then IPO -- similar to TicketMaster online. They need to do it fast to get the internet multiple. Or they need to do it MUCH better which is still possible.

OK that's my take and what about value. The stock has fallen so hard and fast that it certainly could test the 10 levels. I know this hurts when one looks at the values of AMazon. My feeling is that Amazon is going to crash down one day soon so I would never touch it so sort of immaterial.

I think this stock has the potential after a base is formed but they need way better PR.

Any comments? Thanks and whatever info you can provide as to history and turn around potential is appreciated.
