I think that's one of the reasons the stock price is falling like a rock. Lucent, MSFT, INTEL, IBM all dropped when they failed to announce split with earnings. (By the way I believe Lucent will most likely announce one soon.) If this is the only reason I think I will buy some when it's on sale.
