yahoo news --Jan. 28, 1999--ConSyGen Inc.
(NASDAQ:CSGI.O) Thursday announced that it has signed a letter of intent
to lease 30,000 square-feet of office space in a new industrial park
in Thailand.
This is to support its Far East software and services activities.
The company expects to hire a significant number of Thai
professionals to support a nucleus of CSGI technical staff to fulfill
its primary need, that of providing a Year 2000 Remediation and
Compliance (Y2K) factory for its Far Eastern customers.
Thomas S. Dreaper, president and chief executive officer, said,
"We are negotiating a major 'Y2K' remediation contract in Southeast
Asia which could be finalized shortly. This two year project will be
the largest contract in ConSyGen's history."
Dreaper added, "This agreement, coupled with our recently
announced e-commerce link to YAHOO (NASDAQ:YHOO.O), positions ConSyGen
for explosive growth well into the next millennium."
ConSyGen, a Phoenix-based company, provides critical and vital
Year 2000 remediation and independent verification and validation
services using its proprietary automated software technology.
