Walt- When you say the Japan ARIB proposal includes multiple chip rates does this mean they include 3.6xxx and 3.8xxx as well as maybe 4.06xxx? How is this possible? I haven't heard of this as an option so far since it seems this is a major bone of contention between Q and ERICY - both have claimed that this chip rate convergence is necessary for economies of scale in handset production etc. If the Japan ARIB proposal allows many chip rates - does this just mean they are being flexible on the proposal but will eventually converge on one or do you see this hybrid approach as a way to solve the impasse?
