I agree with Mike. I've bought in for the sexiness of the story, but I haven't the foggiest idea how to project earnings, and probably ACTV hasn't, either. While I think this ten-bagger stuff is the usual message-board nonsense, I do believe there's a strong shot at double digits by the end of the summer. In the meantime, the stock could, short term, maintain its current price, creep up, or even dribble back to the fours without any change in its prospects. This means that I don't think that the current price is indicative of anything beside the usual buy and sell flux. Unfolding events later on will tell the tale, and those who sit tight and avoid both euphoria and fearfulness will, I believe, be nicely rewarded.
Re Yahoo, there are some excellent posts on the ACTV board and not really a whole lot of typical Yahoo drivel. (But there are two really foul-mouthed, choleric types who lose control when they find disagreement. I wonder if they regurgitate this kind of cyber-rage in the real world.) |
