Since the value of these home wiring networks really kicks in with 3 or more computers/networked home appliances (in avoiding a hub), sharing 1Mbps will max out fairly quickly in the timeframe these products are expected to address - 2000 and beyond.

They want ALL appliances networked with embedded WinCE - M$FT plans to be intimately and deeply involved in ALL aspects of your life.
