They would stop at the same time: Jan 01, 2000 00:01 AM That implies these 25% all use very similar technology (not likely), Why would that be necessary? that the bug in 25% are all the same (not likely), Again why? and that the grid can actually get fried if it happens . That is a quote from an electrical engineering who said that an unexpected 25% surplus could fry transfos and other equipment making up the grid. Just notice that I'm not saying that it will happen. I'm only pointing out one of the many unexpected ways in which the Y2K could hit you.
