THe major advantage now is connecting 2 or more PC's. I think this technology is most interesting for the opportunity it creates for as- yet-undeveloped products. Make it easy for electronics in the home to send and receive signals and who knows what you'll see in the Hammacher Schlemmer catalog that you trash in the year 2002.
