Hey BBoron,

Sure! I started looking back through my post when I went into all of that about volume shares turnover or float. Wow, have I written that much? I was surprised to see that many comment by me.

Anyway, I ran across this research information at traders.com about a technical anaylsis study that seems to indicate that when the price of a stock drops below a given point (say 20 moving average (20 MA) and continues to drop, it will go through a total turnover (float) of at least the number of outstanding shares before that stock starts to recover in price and starts moving up again.

Once again it seems to work! When TECD was heading south in price, I added the shares up for one of the other regulars on this sub-board and I believe this time it was off by one week (early)! Is that right, Judy? I'm pretty sure it was one week. Plus or minu $2.00 (two dollars) per share before the turnaround upward spurt.

Well, I went back and found that exact paper to read it again because it has saved my nerves many times before! Here it is folks! Check it out! traders.com

PS - How stupid of me not to have seen it before! I may have been off in my calculations by one week because I DID NOT SUBTRACT THE NUMBER OF SHARES owned by management like it clearly saids in the first paragraph. That might have added more days to complete the calculation and pinpoint the reversal day! I'm always learning folks!

Enjoy!
