Mike, i live in da rust belt Japanese cars don't last that long up here. My 1976 BMW 2002 runs well only 134000 though. I have it in storage. It is a very well built car. My brother had a 79 Corrolla bought new started to rust in 3 yrs ( so there ! -g-) It ran great and was well built but not solid like me 2002. Volkswagen rabbits are great but i value my life too much to drive such a small car. My friend's 90 Camry purchased new needed a tranny rebuild at 70000 and water pump. Mike
