14:20 ET Micron Technology (MU) 74 1/16 +2 9/16: DRAM chip maker's shares benefitting from strike at Korean chip plant. Analysts predicting that prolonged strike should reduce DRAM supply and lead to better than expected pricing through 1999. Moreover, Micron has been giving indication that 30%-35% sequential bit growth may be acheivable, vs the 20% sequential growth the company forecast last month. Yesterday, CE Unterberg Towbin raised its Feb. qtr estimate from a loss of $0.09 to profit of $0.08 and increased its FY99 estimate from $0.08 to $0.49. The firm raised its price target from $80 to $110.
