Wrongo.

The various states' statutes cannot render the following abortive:

1) FEDERAL Class action suits against AOL. They are a commin'.

2) The good ol' common law C/A based on DECEIT, now commonly called Fraud.

1) is more like a blunderbuss than club.
2) is still powerful as AOL can't stand in the court of public opinion if multiple decisions find fraud - no matter what the $ award may be.

And remember it really doesn't matter what the fine print reads on membership agreements, (those wonderful adhesion contracts that courts regularly void WHEN contradictory representations are made thru massive advertising, e.g., implying unlimited use.)

Also, it may be that AOL has decided to raise rates in June. news.com
