MCRE..beating estimates but there was a charge when they bought CONOMA and that is part of the $-0.15, so it looks to be good report in whole so taking away the charge they are up 0.05 instead of negative 3 that was expected. We'll see tomorrow.

CARPINTERIA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 28, 1999-- MetaCreations Corp. (Nasdaq:MCRE - news) Thursday
reported that net revenues were $11.4 million for the fourth quarter ended Dec. 31, 1998, up 25 percent over the third quarter
of 1998, and down 29 percent compared with $16.1 million for the fourth quarter of 1997.
The company also reported a net loss of $3.7 million, or 15 cents per share, for the fourth quarter of 1998, compared with net
income of $1 million, or 4 cents per share, for the fourth quarter of 1997. Net loss on a pro forma basis before one-time
charges related to the company's acquisition of Canoma Inc. in late December 1998 would have been $1.3 million, or 5 cents
per share, for the fourth quarter of 1998.
Net revenues for the year 1998 were $42.8 million, compared with $69.1 million for 1997. The company reported a net loss of
$19.8 million, or 83 cents per share, for the year 1998, compared with a net loss of $8.2 million, or 36 cents per share, for
