Notice to Qualcomm Shareholders:
Now don't go selling your shares too cheaply! Yes, it's volatile, and yes, you might be able to buy them back for less. Certainly in the past this has held true and while there are no guarantees it is different this time, previous action is not a reliable indicator of future performance. My sense is that the perception of the Q is beginning to change and one should never underestimate the valuation that can be placed on a company in the enviable position of Q.

I find myself in this trap (I admit it, I have profited from this volatility in the past) and must constantly remind myself why I purchased this stock as a long-term holding.

There! That's off my chest. Now I don't have to feel sorry for all the loosers that will sell their shares at levels that will make them cry later. Or how about the ones that previously had large positions in the Q and based upon previous price action now only hold a small position?
