Gosh MeDroogies, I think you have set the stage for a "Thread Healing."

Here is a nice healing meditation I often use:

I get comfortable and close my eyes. I am in a quiet place. I breathe deeply, slowly. I feel relaxation claiming every part of my body. I let my thoughts empty out of my mind.

In my mind now is a clear and gently moving brook. The fresh, cool water forms a placid pond. I am there, relaxed, no thoughts, just totally at peace sitting comfortably by this placid pool of clear and fresh water.

I am so at peace within that now I can see any person in my life with true clarity and honesty. Thus renewed and at peace I can even see my worst enemy in this fashion.

I am so at peace, here at this placid pool of fresh and clear water. I am so at one with everything and every person in my universe, even my worst enemy. I approach this worst enemy, with quiet and openness. I gently invite him to wade into the water of this fresh and clear placid pond with me, holding hands as we enter.

Holdings hands with him, gently, I am in this placid pool, within this peace, and with my other hand I grab his neck and, pushing him down, I hold his head under the water. As he struggles and gasps for air, I know I am at peace and at one with my universe.*

Caution: I am an expert. Do not try this at home.
