I found the reason for the big run up in the stock today. The story is longer, but I will post the first part:

January 28, 1999:

Rugrats Leads Cable to Record
New York -- Paced by the introduction of a new character, Nickelodeon's Rugrats helped basic cable set another ratings record for the week of Jan. 18-24.

Cable averaged a 26.1 rating/42 share in cable homes, according to Turner Entertainment Research analysis of Nielsen Media Research data. The previous record was 25.8.

The Jan. 18 debut of Dil, who first appeared in the Rugrats film in December, earned a 6.4 household rating, Three Rugrats episodes for that week drew at least a 6.2 rating.

The Rugrats have also selected the Mediahawk server as their choice for interactive entertainment. Just kidding (last time I posted a joke some people beleived it!) The truth is that the pop was due to the SFA earnings release and the conference call which is beginning right now. Will they mention CCUR? Stay tuned.
