nihil, I know about it. But the point here is that Abraham gave into his wife's advice instead of holding fast and believing God's promise to him that he will have an heir. Do you think it was unbelief or did he just want to tap the maid? I think the latter. <gg> Human weakness. I don't see how you can lay the blame on God for any of it. It was the people who fouled it up. And Hagar was promised by God she and her son would not perish and even more God would raise up a nation to her son. So God dealt with compassion for the people that were treated so badly by Abraham and Sarah. That's no bummer God IMO. Bob
