Thanks Yo. I don't get it. The offering has apparently meet with great enthusiasm and according to news reports is now jacking up above 1 billion. The interest rate is very light, and not a bad give away on the exercise premium. What the heck is going on? Why not just raise 10 or 50 billion? Something is definitely surreal about this.

$1.25bln (see bottom of my prior note). Plus, don't forget the ol' green shoe, which will probably remain @ 15%. Coupon is not set @ a whopping 4.75%.

Here's the rationale: it will NOT, repeat will not, get called out. Any one, incl Bozos, that believes scamazon will have the cash to call back the note within the next 3 yrs is on a bad trip. Therefore, if you were long which would you rather own: AMZN or AMZN w/a 4.75% "dividend."
