Soon To Be Largest Internet Retailer of Perfume and Cologne Announces Development of New Online Technology
Miami, Fla (Smellgood Newswire) Perfumania (NASDAQ:PRFM) announced today that it has developed a new online technology to improve the overall internet experience. The new technology will allow customers to the Perfumania website, perfumania.com , to enjoy the total in-store experience of the 290 Perfumania retail stores from the convience of their very own homes.
The new technology is called OLSNT(tm), short for OnLine Sniffing Technology. The new OLSNT software will be added to the website the day of the infamous launch on February 1st, 1999. It will allow customers to sample a perfume or cologne before they buy it.
Another service that will be provided is eOLSNT. This service will be used in case of a perfume emergency. An example being if you have a hot date and you come to find out YOU ARE ALL OUT AND THE RETAIL STORES ARE CLOSED! All you have to do is log on to www.perfumania.com and select the perfume you would like to wear for the evening and for a flat fee of $15, a powerful mist will be ejected from the mouse on your computer, to please that special person.
