Dawg, read this one. Etrade screwed me recently too. now keep in mind i will take some of the responsibility for not checking my account sooner. I placed a limit order for DBCC at 39 bucks and after it opened considerably higher i cancelled the order. I received confirmation onscreen that the order was indeed still open and the current price was well above the limit order and that my order to cancel was placed. Well 5 days later to my horror i got the confirmation from e*trade through the mail that i had bought DBCC at 39. Well, the stock was now 17 and i am out a considerable amount of money. My transaction history on e*trade shows that I did cancel the order although no exact times are listed. I can't get through to etrade, i spend 30 minutes on the phone waiting only to be disconnected and my 4 e-mail (all civil i might add) have NEVER been acknowledged. Funny i think if i emailed them for new account information they would respond mighty quickly.) I know i will never see this trade broken despite the records i have and all my nice gains in XYLN and ASND are now gone. Needless to say i will never trade with Ef-ck again. Let me know how your article is going Dawg, i would love to share my story with you in more detail. IF anyone on this thread has any advice on how I might pursue this further i would welcome you input.
On a more positive note i want to once again thank Tim and EVERYONE who CONTRIBUTES to this thread. Regardless of what Tim does i hope we can keep this tread going wi
