man, i am astounded. four isp's. i'm sure you have had you lines tested for noise, right? i called the phone company, and they ran a remote test, called me back and said there was no noise. i said, just a second, could you please talk louder, THE RADIO STATION PLAYING ON THE PHONE LINE IS DROWNING YOU OUT!! ;)
but i got a technician to come out and he found a lot wrong, and fixed us up good. that, btw, is on my other puter, not my trading pc with cable modem.
rick, i know you've come to this conclusion on your own, but jeez, you have to go with cable modem or isdn if it's available. should fix you right up. (famous last words!)
