This reminds me of Cal Micro Devices approximately a year or two ago. It lost nearly 50% within a day due to some derivative suit and some alleged hanky-panky by the CEO regarding earning reports. I don't think that the news was ever confirmed, but that didn't apparently matter.
.
It took almost a year for the price to recover and meanwhile lost its earnings momentum. Its now a mediocre to poor performing stock.
