Howard...RE:"The stock has doubled since October" To which October are you referring?...1997 or 1998? In a land where people all walk the one with a bicycle is a happy king. That same person would be unhappy with his bicycle if everyone, except him, had cars. (relativity) In other words...while techs stock are setting record highs and CPQ has supposedly reported good earnings it isn't moving relative to other stocks in similar business. On the other hand one should consider that CPQ is going through a difficult integration process with DEC. IMO far from over. In absolute terms CPQ stock is doing okay...in relative terms it's lagging other techs...ergo the impatience of shareholders. Loki
