thanks to all posters for good info. time for me to transition some $s from msft, dell, intc to aol & lycos. today's wsj article along with aol holiday sales makes it clear that it is one key player for future. reading periodicals (ie fortune, bus week, forbes,invstr business daily) with more and more articles re vulnerability of msft, intc.

again thanks for excellent posts. tough to abandon 18% ytd return on stocks like msft but sensing that many $s will flow from trad blue chip techs to aol
