JG CORDES, Yes, I do and brought up the issue in posting #23377... As I see it, we all pay for the privilege of being free to roam, read and post on any thread on SI, as long as we behave with civility. The proposed usage of a private code would defeat that purpose and most likely contravene the basic covenants regulating this site. The problem arises when a commercial service with paying subscribers functions in parallel and in conjunction with SI, using it as a convenient support. By proposing to introduce secrecy, it would be an attempt at by-passing the SI basic rules of fairness to all involved. In addition, I am convinced that this move is also counter productive when it comes to the rapid appreciation of stock values. I sincerely hope, they carefully weigh the various views before coming to a decision, as I find the thread most informative, although I usually trade my own picks and happily share them (MATH).
