From the chart technically, the DJI seems to be getting into either:

1. A double top formation or
2. Make a double bottom in the future (bullish W) and take off

In either case it seems to be headed toward 8000 over next 4-6 months or so.
If it bounces off 8000 and the economic conditions are good, it is surely headed toward 10,000 by the year end. I would stick to buying quality large caps if they provide a good value then...; however, if it breaks down below 8K then who knows...keep an eye on the indicators though, this is a very hardened bullmarket.
