TTF, Couldn't help but laugh when I saw your credentials. BSB? MBA? Your lack of technical knowledge shines through. Obviously you don't know databases, because any and all (including DB2/400) ANSI-SQL databases use set-at-a-time table -io. You obviously don't know the AS/400, because you would know that their are actually two database architectures available, the original database (record-level io) and the SQL database (set-level io). Lastly, you certainly don't know UNIX because there are very few true applications that can be ported across the various flavors of UNIX. UNIX is for the idealist, love-children of the '60s and '70's that believe an operating system has to be "open" and "freely accessible" to be of any value. These are the same types that believe in ESPERANTO, the metric-system and uni-sex bathrooms.
