RE: Strike Prices

Tim,

Here is a copy of recent e-mail correspondence from cboe to me on this subject. I have called the no. (312-786-7020) in the past and requested that additional strike prices be added and they have promptly done so at prices higher than the underlying stock had traded; however, they were less than 25% out-of-the-money.

JB

Dear Investor,

Thanks for the message. Generally, new strikes will not be added in the current expiration month in which an equity option trades. However, new strikes will generally be added for the remaining months when the underlying security trades at or higher than the available strikes (usually they are added the next day). Also, you may want to suggest that the strikes in question be added through our new strike request line at 1-312-786-7020. However, there is no guarantee that the strikes requested will be added. If you have any other questions or concerns please give us a call at 1-800-OPTIONS.

Regards,
